## Description

We are looking for a Primary School Music Teacher for an International Bilingual School in Xiamen. This position is available from the 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

-   Teach music to primary school students using PYP curriculum framework
-   Prepare lessons, design assessments, and provide written feedback
-   Deliver both classroom music theory and practical performance instruction
-   Direct ensembles, choirs, or instrumental groups and organize school performances and concerts
-   Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
-   Monitor student progress and set improvement targets
-   Communicate with parents and caregivers
-   Create safe, supportive learning environments

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field
-   Valid teaching certification or license
-   Minimum 2 years classroom teaching experience
-   International curriculum experience (preferred)
-   Home-country teaching license (preferred)
