We are looking for a Head of Mathematics (Secondary) for a bilingual international school in Chengdu. This leadership role starts in August 2026 for the 2026–27 academic year

Job Responsibilities

-   Lead the Mathematics department across secondary (IGCSE/A Level or equivalent)
-   Teach Mathematics across secondary as needed
-   Drive curriculum planning, consistency, and quality assurance across the department
-   Support and develop teachers through coaching, collaborative planning, and resource sharing
-   Plan engaging lessons, set and mark assessments, and write reports to a high standard
-   Monitor student progress, set improvement targets, and ensure strong learning outcomes
-   Communicate clearly with students and parents, providing constructive feedback and guidance
-   Create a safe, supportive, and academically ambitious learning environment

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree or above in Mathematics or a related field
-   At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience (leadership or coordination experience preferred)
-   Strong experience with IGCSE and A Level (or equivalent international curricula)
-   Ability to teach Mathematics across secondary, including IGCSE and A Level
-   Excellent spoken and written English
-   QTS and teaching experience at bilingual international schools in China preferred

-   Monthly salary of RMB 22,000 to 30,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications
