We are seeking a Science (Chemistry specialism) Teacher for an international school based in Nanjing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 school year in August 2026.

Job details

-   Teach Science with a specialism in Chemistry to students in secondary education, utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
-   Plan and prepare lessons, assessments, and learning materials in line with curriculum requirements
-   Mark and evaluate student work, and write clear and accurate report comments
-   Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and ongoing improvement
-   Assess and monitor student progress, setting clear goals to support achievement and growth
-   Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers
-   Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment that promotes student development

## Requirements

-   Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
-   Clean criminal background check for all countries you've lived in
-   Meet China visa requirements: bachelor's degree plus at least two years' relevant experience
-   Committed to student safeguarding and willing to complete child protection training when needed
