## Description

We are seeking an experienced Generator Mechanical Technician with strong hands-on experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting generator mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure generators operate efficiently, safely, and reliably through proper mechanical maintenance and timely fault resolution.

## Requirements

-   Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on generators of various capacities.
-   Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults related to engines, cooling systems, fuel systems, and exhaust systems.
-   Conduct preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacement, belt inspection, and engine tuning.
-   Install, align, and test generator mechanical components during commissioning and servicing.
-   Monitor engine performance, vibration, temperature, and noise levels to ensure safe operation.
-   Identify worn or damaged parts and recommend replacements.
-   Support emergency breakdown repairs and on-site mechanical troubleshooting.
-   Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
-   Coordinate with electrical technicians during generator servicing and testing.

### **Qualifications**

-   Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
-   2–5 years of practical experience working with diesel generators or power generation equipment.
-   Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, and lubrication systems.
-   Ability to read mechanical drawings and service manuals.
-   Experience with different generator brands and capacities is an advantage.
-   Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work under pressure and in field conditions.
