## Description

ERS Elite is hiring **Welders** to support high-volume manufacturing operations for a leading transportation equipment manufacturer. This role is responsible for performing **MIG welding and fabrication** on structural steel and aluminum components used in trailer production.

This is a **direct-hire opportunity** with long-term career growth in a modern manufacturing environment

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Perform **MIG welding (GMAW)** on steel and/or aluminum components
-   Weld structural assemblies including frames, crossmembers, and panels
-   Read and interpret **blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions**
-   Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
-   Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance with specifications
-   Use hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment to prepare materials
-   Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards
-   Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements

## Requirements

### **Preferred Experience**

-   1+ years of welding experience in **manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments**
-   Experience with **MIG welding (GMAW)** required; aluminum welding a plus
-   Ability to pass a **hands-on weld test** (fillet and/or groove welds)
-   Familiarity with production environments and quality standards
