## Description

**Cook Position Available at Empro Staffing**

Empro Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and skilled Cook to join our healthcare team. Our Cook will play a crucial role in preparing and serving meals that meet dietary standards and promote the health and satisfaction of our clients.

**Compensation:** $25/hr.

**Work Schedule:** 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM including every other Saturday & Sunday

### Responsibilities

-   Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and nutritional guidelines.
-   Ensure proper portion sizes based on dietary requirements.
-   Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
-   Manage inventory of food supplies and notify supervisors of shortages.
-   Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to meet patient nutritional needs.
-   Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

### Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-   Previous cooking experience, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
-   Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures.
-   Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to dietary restrictions.
-   Strong teamwork and communication skills.
-   Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment as needed.
-   Passion for preparing nutritious and appealing meals.
