We are looking for a dependable and hardworking **Housekeeping Porter** to join our environmental services team at a long-term care nursing facility in **Staten Island, NY**.

Our housekeeping team plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making a positive impact every day, we'd love to hear from you!

### **Responsibilities**

-   Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common areas
-   Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas throughout the facility
-   Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials
-   Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
-   Assist with floor care, including buffing and polishing, when needed
-   Follow infection control procedures and OSHA safety guidelines
-   Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from nursing and administrative staff
-   Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department
-   Help maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents and visitors

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Previous housekeeping or porter experience in a **nursing home, hospital, rehabilitation center, or healthcare facility preferred**
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-   Strong attention to detail
-   Reliable, punctual, and professional
-   Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
-   Excellent work ethic and positive attitude
