## Description

**EnerMech is seeking an experienced Topside Completion Engineer – Client Representative to support projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing topside modifications, managing SIMOPS activities, coordinating commissioning efforts, and ensuring the safe integration of new equipment into live offshore production facilities. Candidates with strong FPSO brownfield execution, construction, and commissioning experience are encouraged to apply.**

**Job Description:**

-   Serve as the offshore client representative for assigned topside modification and upgrade work scopes.
-   Manage the execution of projects involving, Oil, gas, and water processing systems, Utility systems including power generation, water injection, and compressed air systems, Flare, safety, and emergency systems,Instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
-   Ensure all work packages are executed in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and technical requirements.
-   Oversee installation, hook-up, and integration of new equipment into live FPSO facilities.
-   Coordinate system tie-ins, shutdown activities, and phased implementation plans.
-   Ensure modifications are compatible with existing facilities while minimizing operational disruption.
-   Support production optimization and debottlenecking initiatives.
-   Lead and coordinate Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) activities onboard the FPSO.
-   Work closely with construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safe execution of concurrent activities.
-   Identify and mitigate operational conflicts while maintaining production continuity.
-   Promote and maintain the highest standards of HSE performance.
-   Lead toolbox talks, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) activities.
-   Ensure compliance with all safety procedures related to hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, and hazardous activities.
-   Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified.
-   Supervise contractors performing mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation activities.
-   Ensure installations comply with engineering drawings, specifications, company standards, and QA/QC requirements.
-   Verify construction completeness and readiness for handover to commissioning teams.
-   Drive mechanical completion activities and system readiness reviews.
-   Manage punch lists and turnover documentation.
-   Support commissioning activities including, Loop checking, Functional testing, System commissioning and start-up
-   Facilitate seamless handover between construction, commissioning, and operations teams.

-   Act as the primary offshore focal point between onshore engineering teams, FPSO operations personnel, contractors, and vendors.
-   Communicate scope changes, technical challenges, project priorities, and operational constraints effectively across all stakeholders.
-   Monitor work package progress against schedule and project milestones.
-   Prepare daily and weekly progress reports covering: Construction status, Safety, observations, SIMOPS activities, Risks and mitigation plans.
-   Proactively identify and resolve technical, operational, and schedule-related challenges

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
-   Extensive offshore oil and gas experience with FPSO facilities.
-   Proven experience managing brownfield modifications and topside work packages in live production environments.
-   Strong understanding of SIMOPS planning and execution.
-   Experience supporting mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
-   Knowledge of offshore HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and risk management processes.
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
