# QHSE SPECIALIST- Angola Base

## Description

·        Provide QHSE functional support for the business and help to lead certification of Angola site to ISO9001:2015

·        Manage local site Business risk Register and provide support for project-based Risk assessments

·        Managing local Internal audit plan, conducting audits and following up corrective actions to findings identified

·        Support client and external audits, where required

·        Provision of regular monitoring of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and reporting thereof to Senior and Group Management teams

-   Support NCR, incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring appropriate investigation techniques are applied and accurate, comprehensive reports are produced.
-   Support emergency preparedness, response plans, drills and exercises.
-   Conduct and support QHSE inspections, audits and site visits, identifying areas for improvement and following up on corrective actions.
-   Monitor QHSE performance indicators and trends and provide recommendations for continual improvement.
-   Support the implementation and monitoring of safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements and other QHSE controls.
-   Provide QHSE input into project planning, mobilisation and operational activities.
-   Support the development and implementation of QHSE plans, risk assessments, bridging documents and other project-specific QHSE documentation.
-   Support operations in preparing for and addressing findings arising from internal, external and client audits.

·        Utilises indicators such as Cost of poor Quality, Voice of the Process and Voice of the employee to determine and drive future improvement actions in focus areas

·        Assisting in ensuring products and services are delivered to company recognised and client specified quality procedures through the ongoing development and improvement of the Business Management System (BMS) 

·        Providing support to process owners for the execution of document creation, review and approval lifecycle process within the BMS

·        Providing support to Key Account Managers for where client interaction may be required

·        Lead proactively on supporting safety initiatives such as Life Saving Rules (LSR) inspection and Walk the Talk (WTT)

·        Act as QHSE subject matter expert support for site teams 

·        Provide monthly and quarterly QHSE reports.

·        Support the EnerMech QHSE initiatives including behavioral safety.

·        Coordinate the health surveillance process, including Noise, Display Screens and HAVS etc.

·        Support the business units in the achievement of QHSE objectives.

## Requirements

**Essential:**

·        Knowledge and experience of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001, API Q1, 45001, 14001), relevant adjacent standards (e.g. ISO 10000 series) and relevant associated auditing standards (e.g. ISO 19011)

·        Experience of creating and implementing quality/Safety process standards

·        5 years+ professional industry experience.

·        Experience in Material control; Identification, status, traceability, segregation and review

·        Experience in Non-Conformity and incident management; root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action

·        Experience of investigating and responding to incidents and management of change.

·        Experience of conducting QHSE audits internal and external.

·        Good communicator

·        Good working knowledge of risk assessment processes.

**Preferred:**

·        Qualified to internal, preferably lead auditor to one of the Annex SL Standards (9001, 14001, 45001)

·        NEBOSH Certificate

·        Chartered Quality Professional – Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQP MCQI)

·        Alternatively, Certified Quality Engineer – American Society of Quality (CQE – ASQ)

·        Alternatively, Membership of IOSH or equivalent

·        Working knowledge of completing QHSE information for tenders.

·        Experience with lifting, hydraulic, piping or valve engineering disciplines

·        Knowledge of Offshore Oil & Gas industry regulations and standards.
