## Description

**Blind Installation Technician**

**Temp-to-Hire**

**Location:** Friendswood, TX 77546

**Shift:** 7am-4:30pm M-F

**Payr:** $17.00/ hour

**Start:** ASAP

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Accurately measure windows using tape or lasers for accurate ordering of custom window treatments
-   Safely install mounting brackets, secure hardware, and hang various window coverings (e.g., drapes, traditional and motorized blinds, shutters, and awnings).
-   Remove existing window coverings, treat surrounding surfaces, and prepare area for new installation
-   Instruct clients on product maintenance, operation, and safety features (especially for motorized treatments)
-   Maintain a clean work environment, safely manage ladders, and comply with all safety regulations.

## Requirements

**Qualifications & Requirements**

-   High school diploma or equivalent
-   Prior experience in carpentry, construction, or in-home installation is highly preferred.
-   Proficiency with basic hand tools (drills, screwdrivers) and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.

-   Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.

-   Excellent problem-solving, strong verbal communication, and a friendly, courteous demeanor.
-   Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
-   Must pass background check and drug screen
