## Description

At **Enroute Systems**, we are looking for an experienced **Shopify Developer** to join our team for a 3**\-week contract opportunity**. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify e-commerce solutions to create seamless, engaging, and high-performing online shopping experiences.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, implement new features, customize Shopify themes, integrate third-party applications, and improve overall website functionality and performance. You will also be involved in troubleshooting technical issues, enhancing existing features, and ensuring that solutions align with business goals and e-commerce best practices.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong experience in Shopify development, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to delivering scalable, efficient, and high-quality e-commerce solutions within a fast-paced environment.

## Requirements

Required Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on Shopify theme development experience.

Strong knowledge of \*\*Shopify Liquid, Online Store 2.0, sections, blocks, templates, and metafields\*\*.

Advanced HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills.

Experience customizing existing Shopify themes rather than relying exclusively on page builders.

Experience implementing responsive Figma designs.

Ability to develop custom animations and interactive frontend components.

Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Ability to work within short delivery cycles and communicate progress clearly.

Nice to Have

Experience with GSAP or similar JavaScript animation libraries.

Knowledge of Shopify CLI and theme development workflows.

Experience with Shopify Search & Discovery and product filtering.

Familiarity with GA4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Klaviyo.

Experience with technical SEO and structured data.

Previous experience launching premium DTC e-commerce stores.

The developer will work alongside an existing developer, taking ownership of specific frontend components, Shopify templates, or technical tasks based on project priorities.

The engagement is expected to last approximately three weeks, covering implementation, testing, and launch
