### IMAGINE THE FUTURE AT ENVALIOR

As a **Technologist**, you are responsible for developing, communicating, and applying process engineering and product knowledge to optimize manufacturing performance. You ensure that formulations, raw materials, and production processes meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and efficiency while supporting the successful introduction of new products and technologies.

Working closely with Production, R&D, Maintenance, Project Engineering, SHE, Supply Chain, and Site Management, you will act as the technological expert for one or more production lines and lead improvement initiatives that enhance plant performance, product quality, and operational excellence.

### You will make an impact by:

**Process & Product Development**

-   Introduce new formulations, raw materials, and product specifications while ensuring compliance with Envalior, customer, and regulatory requirements
-   Support R&D in assessing the manufacturability of new and modified products and processes
-   Lead product scale-up from development to routine production
-   Translate formulations into production recipes and maintain them in SAP
-   Support the implementation of new technologies and drive fast, efficient implementation of new products and processes

**Process Optimization**

-   Optimize production processes to improve yield, product quality, and cost efficiency
-   Define and optimize Key Operating Parameters (KOPs), operating windows, and processing windows
-   Analyze structural production issues related to quality, output, process performance, and SHE
-   Organize and facilitate FMEA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Six Sigma improvement activities
-   Lead multidisciplinary continuous improvement projects and support small capital projects
-   Take ownership of improvement initiatives from concept through implementation
-   Lead the Ready-To-Operate (RTO) phase of construction projects below €5 million

**Quality & Safety**

-   Maintain and improve quality management systems in accordance with GMP, ISO/TS and customer requirements
-   Release compliant production batches and determine the disposition of non-conforming products
-   Evaluate product deviations together with R&D and customers
-   Lead customer audits and participate in internal quality audits
-   Prepare and maintain Control Plans, FMEAs, Process Charts, and other quality documentation
-   Investigate customer complaints using the TOPS 8D methodology
-   Organize and participate in process safety studies, including HAZOP and Risk Inventory & Evaluation
-   Provide technical expertise during SHE- and quality-related investigations and meetings

## Requirements

### THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

-   Master's degree in **Chemical Engineering** (Industrial Engineering) or equivalent through relevant experience
-   Up to **3 years of relevant experience** in a production, process engineering, or technology role
-   Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, formulations, and raw materials
-   Experience with process optimization, continuous improvement methodologies, and data analysis
-   Good knowledge of **SAP** and reporting tools
-   Excellent understanding of **SHEQ procedures**, process safety, HAZOP, and manufacturing best practices
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to decision-making
-   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
-   Ability to lead multidisciplinary improvement initiatives and influence stakeholders across departments
-   Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance quality, safety, cost, and operational performance
-   Fluent in **Dutch and English**, both written and spoken
