## Description

**Envision Employment Solutions** is currently looking for **Software Radar Engineer** for one of our partners, a leader in the **Consulting & Technology Services**!

**Objective:**

We are seeking a talented **Software Radar Engineer** to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced radar software solutions for next-generation driver assistance and autonomous vehicle systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and optimizing radar software components while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with automotive quality standards.

**Responsibilities:**

**Software Development**

-   Design, develop, and maintain software components for automotive radar systems.
-   Implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that meet project requirements.
-   Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
-   Develop software in accordance with automotive development standards and coding guidelines.
-   Perform software integration, debugging, and performance optimization activities.

**Radar System Development**

-   Support the development of radar perception and signal processing software.
-   Collaborate with systems and hardware teams to integrate radar functionality into vehicle platforms.
-   Analyze radar performance and contribute to software improvements.
-   Participate in system integration and validation activities.
-   Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for radar-related software issues.

**Technical Leadership**

-   Lead software development activities within assigned work packages.
-   Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
-   Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
-   Contribute to technical planning, effort estimation, and risk identification.
-   Promote software engineering best practices across the development team.

**Quality & Continuous Improvement**

-   Develop and execute unit and integration testing activities.
-   Ensure software quality through code reviews and adherence to development processes.
-   Maintain technical documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
-   Identify opportunities to improve software performance, maintainability, and development efficiency.
-   Stay informed about emerging radar technologies and automotive software trends.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
-   **4–6+ years of experience in embedded software development, with experience in automotive radar systems or ADAS technologies.**
-   Strong programming experience in **C and/or C++**.
-   Experience with software architecture and object-oriented design principles.
-   Knowledge of automotive software development processes and lifecycle.
-   Experience working with embedded systems and real-time software.
-   Familiarity with radar technologies, radar signal processing concepts, or ADAS systems.
-   Experience with software debugging, integration, and performance optimization.
-   Understanding of software testing methodologies, code reviews, and software quality processes.
-   Experience working within cross-functional engineering teams.
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-   Experience with version control tools such as Git is preferred.
-   Knowledge of automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, or AUTOSAR is considered an advantage.
