## Description

**Envision Employment Solutions** is currently looking for a **Operations Manager** for one of our partners, a global leader in **Information Technology Services & Consulting**!

**Job Summary:**

The **Operations Manager** is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities of the revenue generation systems, namely the operators, the workflow and the hardware and playback device. This manager is the primary contact between that facilitates the proper execution for on-site jobs.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Supervises all operational staff.
-   Ensure they execute all on-site jobs to the standards detailed in the companies SOPs and ensures the priority order of production as laid down by the Production Manager
-   Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision.
-   In conjunction with the Global QA manager, is responsible for the quality of the deliverable to the client.
-   Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and provides strategic solutions.
-   Own and/or support the various JIRA Work Management boards that track all business activities for both Jobs and Projects
-   Coordinates with the Production Manager in long-term planning, job status reporting, and implementing change control processes alongside the Global QA manager.
-   Contributes to reporting of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics as presented by Power Bi
-   Work with the global service and support departments; ORKA – Infrastructure and Production systems to Follow the Opportunity and Order/Job Build processes and using JIRA Work Management – (Service)
-   Work with all the companies service and support teams both globally and locally to ensure routine and preventative maintenance is carried out
-   Use supporting ORKA data to provide continual analysis on operator performance as well as machine performance
-   Supports and promotes the companies ISMS - Information Security Management System

## Requirements

**Education & Professional Background:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Audiovisual Technologies, Film, Information Technology, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
-   Relevant certifications in project management, operations management, quality assurance, information security, or audiovisual technologies are an advantage.
-   Previous experience in a broadcaster, digitization facility, post-production house, archive/media preservation environment, AV production facility, or technical operations environment is highly preferred.

**Experience Requirements:**

-   4–7 years of relevant experience in operations supervision, production operations, media operations, AV operations, technical production, or workflow coordination.
-   Proven experience supervising operational staff, operators, technicians, or production support teams.
-   Experience overseeing on-site job execution and ensuring work is completed according to approved SOPs, priorities, timelines, and quality standards.
-   Experience coordinating with production managers, QA teams, service teams, technical support teams, and departmental supervisors.
-   Previous exposure to production workflow management, job tracking, operational reporting, risk tracking, and change control processes.
-   Experience working in environments where quality, client deliverables, system uptime, and operational discipline are critical.

**Technical & Systems Requirements:**

-   Working knowledge of audio, video, film, playback devices, media production systems, or AV production technologies.
-   Familiarity with production hardware, playback systems, operational equipment, and workflow infrastructure.
-   Experience using Jira Work Management, Jira Service Management, or similar workflow/project tracking tools.
-   Ability to read, analyze, and contribute to operational reports and dashboards, preferably using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
-   Familiarity with production systems, infrastructure support systems, job-build processes, order workflows, and operational ticketing systems.
-   Understanding of routine and preventive maintenance processes for production systems, machines, playback devices, or technical infrastructure.
-   Awareness of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and the importance of secure handling of operational and client-related information.
