**Envision Employment Solutions** is currently looking for a **Senior Technical Engineer (WiFi & Firewall)** for one of our partners, a global leader in **Information Technology Services & Consulting**!

**About:**

The **Senior Technical Engineer (WiFi & Firewall)** is a senior-level network and security operations professional responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise wireless and firewall environments within NOC and Command Center operations. The role focuses on handling critical incidents, maintaining service availability, improving network security, and ensuring operational stability across enterprise WiFi, authentication, firewall, and security infrastructures.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Incident & Escalation Management: Acting as the L3 escalation point for complex WiFi and firewall incidents, leading P1/P2 bridges, and driving service restoration within SLA targets.
-   Enterprise WiFi Operations: Managing and troubleshooting wireless controllers, access points, RF optimization, authentication, and enterprise wireless performance.
-   Firewall Administration & Security Operations: Managing next-generation firewalls including policy administration, NAT, VPN, IPSec, threat analysis, and traffic inspection.
-   Advanced Troubleshooting: Performing packet captures, log analysis, deep-dive investigations, and multi-domain troubleshooting activities.
-   Change & Release Execution: Implementing high-risk changes with approved MOPs, rollback plans, and post-change validation procedures.
-   Monitoring & Performance Management: Monitoring enterprise platforms using tools such as Cisco Prime, Aruba ClearPass, Panorama, or similar management solutions.
-   Operational Collaboration: Coordinating with TDT, TIM, NOC, security teams, vendors, and customers to ensure service continuity and operational excellence.
-   Documentation & Governance: Maintaining SOPs, KEDB documentation, configuration records, and audit-compliant operational documentation.

## Requirements

-   Experience: 7–12 years of experience in enterprise WiFi, firewall, and network operations environments.
-   Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Cisco WLC, Aruba Mobility, RF technologies, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, VPN/IPSec, NAC/ISE, and enterprise networking.
-   Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of routing, switching, wireless authentication, RADIUS, and network troubleshooting principles.
-   Monitoring & Security Tools: Experience with monitoring and centralized management platforms such as Prime, Panorama, and ClearPass.
-   Certifications: Preferred certifications include CCNP Wireless/Security, NSE4/NSE5, PCNSA/PCNSE, CWNP, and ITIL Foundation.
-   Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, incident management, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
