## Description

**Specialist ALN School | Ages 3–19**

**Rate: £90 - £100 per day** 

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistant** to join our client school supporting children and young people aged **3–19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties**.

**Key responsibilities include:**

-   Supporting pupils with **SLD, PMLD, autism, physical disabilities and complex learning needs**
-   Providing **one-to-one and small group support** tailored to individual development plans
-   Occasionally assisting with **personal care, mobility and wellbeing**, ensuring dignity and safety
-   Supporting **sensory, communication and differentiated learning activities**
-   Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and inclusion
-   Working closely with teachers and specialist professionals

## Requirements

**We are looking for someone who:**

-   Has experience supporting children or young people with **ALN or complex needs**
-   Is calm, patient and caring, with a flexible and positive approach
-   Works well as part of a **team in a specialist setting**
-   Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
