This opportunity sits within the Oil & Energy space and is suited to a specialist who can help strengthen the quality, consistency, and usability of subsurface petrophysical data. The role plays an important part in supporting reliable data practices and enabling technical teams to work with trusted information across subsurface systems and workflows.

### Responsibilities

-   Validate 1D data packages against corporate standards, identifying and resolving formatting, depth, or metadata errors.
-   Liaise between technical users and service providers/IT to define requirements and ensure seamless data flow into subsurface systems.
-   Apply data governance rules, maintain submission templates, and consistency of data storage practices.
-   Monitor data quality metrics and provide technical support to internal stakeholders.

## Requirements

### Experience

-   Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, specifically in petrophysics and data quality management.

### Education

-   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or Petroleum Engineering.

### Technical Skills

-   Deep knowledge of well log and core physics.
-   Experience with LAS/ASCII petrophysics data formats and subsurface information systems such as Techlog or Petrel.
-   Advanced capability in data analysis, data science, or business analytics.
-   Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, or Python for data validation are preferred.

### Soft Skills

-   Professional proficiency in English, with strong communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and work effectively across multiple departments.

### Selection criteria

-   Excellent project management capabilities.
-   Experience coordinating work across multiple departments to resolve data or process issues is a plus.

### Preferred certificate

-   Master's degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Business Analytics, or MIS is preferred.
