# Senior Process Engineer - Oil & Gas (Saudi Arabia)

## Description

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for leading process engineering activities for oil & gas projects across all phases, from FEED through detailed engineering and commissioning. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on project execution experience, and solid knowledge of GCC regulatory and operational standards.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead process engineering design for oil & gas facilities (onshore/offshore)
-   Develop and review process design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, and process calculations
-   Perform simulations, heat & material balance, and equipment sizing
-   Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and GCC client requirements
-   Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and design review studies
-   Coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil teams
-   Review vendor documents and provide technical clarifications
-   Support construction, commissioning, and start-up activities
-   Mentor junior process engineers and provide technical guidance

### Qualifications & Experience

-   Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
-   **Minimum 15+ years** of overall process engineering experience in oil & gas
-   **At least 5 years of oil & gas project experience within the GCC region**
-   Strong experience working in EPC / PMC environments

### Technical Skills

-   Process simulation tools (HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, etc.)
-   Strong knowledge of oil & gas process systems and unit operations
-   Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO)
-   Experience in refineries, gas processing, LNG, or upstream facilities
