## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Lead Engineer (Cost Control Engineer)** to oversee cost engineering, project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting for large-scale capital projects, preferably within the oil & gas industry.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Manage cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities for capital projects.
-   Prepare, maintain, and review accurate monthly cost reports and project cost forecasts.
-   Monitor project costs against approved budgets, contracts, and cost control requirements.
-   Provide cost analysis and recommendations to support project management and decision-making.
-   Ensure engineering, procurement, construction, and project completion activities comply with contractual, cost, and company requirements.
-   Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
-   Support project controls and ensure proper implementation of cost management procedures.

### Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering**, or a related field.
-   Minimum **10 years of experience** in engineering and project management execution.
-   Strong experience in **Cost Engineering, Project Controls, or a related discipline**.
-   Proven experience in cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and control of large-scale projects, preferably in **oil & gas**.
-   Proficiency in cost management systems such as **SAP or Oracle**.
-   Strong knowledge of project management principles, cost engineering practices, and relevant industry standards.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Full professional proficiency in **English**.
-   Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.

### Preferred Certification

-   **PMP (Project Management Professional)** certification preferred.
