## Description

### **Qualifications & Experience:**

-   **Diploma in Mechanical Engineering** or equivalent technical qualification.
-   **5–8 years** of hands-on experience in **maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems**.
-   Strong expertise in maintenance of **mechanical equipment**, including:

-   **Static equipment** (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves)
-   **Rotary equipment** (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers)

-   Experience using **SAP PM** for maintenance work orders, notifications, and history tracking is **preferred**.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Supervise and execute **preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance** activities for mechanical equipment in gas plants and pipelines.
-   Lead and manage mechanical technicians and fitters, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
-   Ensure strict compliance with **HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and safety procedures**.
-   Coordinate with operations to plan maintenance activities, shutdowns, and equipment isolation.
-   Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs.
-   Perform troubleshooting and support **root cause analysis (RCA)** for equipment failures.
-   Verify job quality, conduct inspections, and ensure equipment readiness before handover to operations.
-   Ensure proper use of tools, spare parts, and materials; support inventory control and spare management.
-   Prepare and close maintenance work orders, reports, and equipment history records.
-   Support plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency maintenance activities.
-   Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to technicians to enhance team capability.
