## Description

The Drafting Trainer is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs in drafting for trainees and employees. The role involves classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, assessment of trainee performance, and the development of training materials. The trainer ensures that trainees acquire the knowledge and skills required to perform drafting work in accordance with industry standards and organizational requirements, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector.

## Requirements

-   Plan, prepare, and deliver classroom and practical drafting training programs covering basic, intermediate, and advanced drafting techniques and standards.
-   Develop and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, training manuals, quizzes, examinations, and instructional resources.
-   Assess trainee performance through written and practical evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and recommend improvement plans.
-   Monitor trainee attendance, progress, and classroom discipline to maintain an effective and productive learning environment.
-   Maintain accurate training records, assessment results, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
-   Ensure training activities comply with company policies, engineering standards, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements while supporting continuous improvement of training programs.

**Requirements.**

-   Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Associate Degree/Two-year Diploma in Drafting Technology, or High School/Vocational Diploma in Engineering Drawing or Drafting
-   Minimum **4 years** of relevant Oil & Gas industry experience (with a degree) or **11 years** (without a degree).
-   Fluent in spoken and written English with a minimum of **IELTS 6.0** or equivalent TOEFL score (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
-   Proficiency in **MicroStation** and/or **AutoCAD**, with experience in mechanical, civil, structural, or architectural drafting.
-   Experience in training, mentoring, coaching, or delivering classroom and practical technical instruction.
