## Description

Essel Environmental provides On-Demand Emergency and Disaster Response Personnel throughout the United States.

We have an ongoing need for personnel to assist with emergency and non-emergency response in Northern and Central California including:

Duties:

\- Perform restoration and repair work on buildings and structures

\- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks

\- Clean and restore carpets and other flooring materials

\- Conduct asbestos abatement procedures as needed  

\- Site Demolition and Cleanup

Job Responsibilities:  

-   Utilize hand-tools and equipment, absorbent booms and pads to contain and remediate impacted surfaces, soils and waters.
-   Perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion
-   Must have the ability to carry out written and oral instructions
-   Be able to meet the work schedule with dependability and consistency.
-   Other duties as assigned

## Requirements

-   Able and willing to travel and work on an on-call basis
-   Must be available to deploy immediately or within 24-48 hours depending on the need
-   Confined Space certification a plus
-   Chemical/oil/confined space experience strongly preferred

-   Valid Driver’s license

-   High School Diploma/ GED

-   The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends when needed
-   Ability to perform labor intensive activities in any weather or environmental conditions

-   Reliable local transportation
-   Ability to perform duties while adhering to safety priorities while wearing PPE, such as respirators and protective clothing
