## Description

**Electrical Maintenance Technician**

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for disassemble, repairing, and reassembling production machines used at the plant.

**Position Responsibilities:**

-   Troubleshoots all manual and CNC equipment to identify problem & perform repairs.
-   Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.

Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.

Knowledge of programmable logic controls.

Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repair work on plant equipment and CNC’s.

Work with voltage of 240v-480v.

Diagnose and troubleshoot motor controls on 3-phase equipment and control circuits.

-   Helps initiate equipment procedures when updates have been instigated.
-   Repairs equipment by removing defective parts, replacing with new or usable, test to see if repair was adequate.
-   Responsible for identifying parts needed for repair and getting quotes to purchase the parts.
-   Relocates machinery when needed.
-   Makes repairs to various units within the plant such as heating, cooling, test equipment.

## Requirements

·         2+ years vocational training or a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a related maintenance field. 

·         Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

_**\*        Electrical Certification is REQUIRED!**_ 

·         Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, blueprints, correspondence and memos.

·         Prior maintenance troubleshooting experience with production equipment.
