## Description

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to enhance and maintain the analytics processes and code that power Euromonitor’s internal Forecast Model and support Passport data updates.

The role requires strong programming skills in **Python or R**, familiarity with **cloud computing**, and a genuine interest in data analytics. In addition to internal forecasting work, the role will contribute to **client consulting projects**, applying analytics expertise to solve business problems end‑to‑end — from defining client objectives and data preparation through to insight generation and presentation.

**Key responsibilities include:**

-   Developing and improving data processing code, including mathematical and statistical transformations
-   Contributing to peer reviews and solution design discussions
-   Drawing insights and conclusions from analytical outputs
-   Staying up to date with modern programming and cloud technologies
-   Maintaining clear documentation and sharing best practices across the team

## Requirements

-   Advanced R/Python knowledge.
-   Advanced knowledge of SQL.
-   Ability to automate complex data analysis processes
-   Understanding of data flows, migrations, ETLs, pipelines, and other similar tools
-   Understanding of process scaling and parallelization.
-   Understanding on how to write a production-ready code.
-   Knowledge in econometrics, statistics and economics.
-   Knowledge of Dockers, Rest API, JSON data format would be an advantage
-   Knowledge of cloud computing services platforms providers (Azure, GCS, other)
-   A genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence and related fields like data science and Machine learning would be an advantage.
-   The confidence and ability to take the post forward with the minimum of supervision.

Nice to have:

-   M.A. degree in statistics, econometrics, data science, mathematics, economics, or similar field. Highly skilled candidates with a B.A. will also be considered.
