We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical **Reconciliations Specialist** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and transaction data by performing reconciliations across internal systems, merchant settlements, banking partners, and card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX).

You will play a key role in identifying and resolving discrepancies, investigating root causes, improving reconciliation processes, and supporting the smooth operation of Merchant Payment Services.

**How You 'll Make an Impact**

-   Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations between internal systems, merchant settlements, bank accounts, and card scheme files.
-   Investigate, report, and track discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution.
-   Conduct root cause analysis of reconciliation breaks and financial mismatches.
-   Prepare and maintain accurate reconciliation records and supporting documentation.
-   Gather, analyze, and present financial and operational data in the required format.
-   Monitor reconciliation performance through reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
-   Work closely with Finance, Operations, Product, Technology, and external partners to resolve issues and improve processes.
-   Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
-   Support internal and external audit activities by ensuring complete and transparent documentation.
-   Contribute to the development of procedures, controls, and best practices within the reconciliation function.

**What Makes You a Great Fit**

-   University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
-   Minimum 2 years of experience in Reconciliations, Finance, Accounting, Banking Operations, or a similar role.
-   Experience working with high-volume transaction environments.
-   Knowledge of card payment ecosystems and settlement processes is considered an advantage.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
-   Advanced MS Excel skills.
-   Experience with reporting, data analysis, or dashboard creation is considered a plus.
-   Fluency in both English and Greek - written and verbal - is essential.
-   Eligible to work in the EU without requiring visa sponsorship.
