# Senior SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer

## Description

We currently have a vacancy for a **Senior SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer,** fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely (within EU). In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

**Tasks:**

-   Plan, design, and execute deployments of new Microsoft SharePoint farm versions and environments;
-   Develop, implement, and maintain automated SharePoint patching processes based on Microsoft zero-downtime patching principles;
-   Implement, configure, and operationalize Microsoft SharePoint On-Demand Assessments;
-   Monitor, maintain, and optimize SharePoint infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance;
-   Diagnose and resolve complex SharePoint infrastructure and application-related issues;
-   Collaborate with project teams, technical stakeholders, and service owners to deliver infrastructure enhancements and operational improvements;
-   Produce, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment guides;
-   Follow industry best practices for SharePoint administration, security, maintenance, and governance;
-   Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

## Requirements

-   University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
-   Experience administering enterprise Microsoft SharePoint environments;
-   Strong expertise in SharePoint farm architecture, deployment, and administration;
-   Experience implementing automated deployment and patch management solutions;
-   Experience producing technical documentation and operational procedures;
-   Experience with Microsoft SharePoint On-Demand Assessments;
-   Good knowledge of Microsoft zero-downtime patching methodologies;
-   Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for complex SharePoint infrastructure issues;
-   Excellent command of the English language.
