### **About the Talent Pool**

Evidence Action is building a **Talent Pool of qualified Field Enumerators** to support upcoming Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) activities under the Small-Quantity Lipid-Based Nutrient Supplements (SQ-LNS) program.

By joining our Talent Pool, you will be considered for **future short-term field assignments** as project needs arise. Placement into the Talent Pool **does not constitute an offer of employment or guarantee deployment**. Candidates may be contacted and engaged based on project requirements, location, availability, and successful completion of any required assessments or training.

**Job purpose**

When engaged, Field Enumerators will support the implementation of SQ-LNS monitoring and evaluation activities by collecting high-quality data from health facilities, reviewing programme records, and conducting interviews with health workers and other relevant stakeholders. The data collected will contribute to programme monitoring, learning, decision-making, and continuous programme improvement.

**Eligible Locations**

We are currently seeking candidates who reside in any of the following states:

-   Adamawa
-   Bauchi
-   Gombe
-   Jigawa
-   Kaduna
-   Kano
-   Kebbi
-   Plateau
-   Sokoto

Applicants **must currently reside in one of the listed states** and have a good understanding of the local communities and languages spoken within their area of deployment.

**Duties and responsibilities**

-   Participate in survey training and pilot exercises.
-   Conduct health facility assessments using approved digital data collection tools.
-   Administer interviews with health workers and facility personnel.
-   Review facility registers, service delivery records, and program documentation.
-   Collect data on commodity availability, service delivery, referrals, and SQ-LNS implementation performance.
-   Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of all survey responses.
-   Submit data daily and promptly resolve data quality issues identified by supervisors.
-   Adhere to ethical, safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.
-   Support field logistics and coordination with facility staff and local stakeholders.
-   Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

**Key performance Indicators**

-   ≥95% of assigned sampled facilities successfully surveyed.
-   Daily submission of complete and error-free survey records.
-   Compliance with survey protocols and ethical standards.
-   Timely completion of assigned data collection activities.
-   Low data error rate and successful completion of quality checks.
-   Full physical attendance and active participation during training and field deployment activities.

**Working conditions**

-   Frequent travel to health facilities across assigned states and LGAs.
-   Extensive fieldwork, including visits to hard-to-reach locations.
-   May require overnight stays and extended working hours during survey periods.
-   Work will be conducted in both urban and rural settings under varying field conditions.

## Requirements

-   Minimum OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree
-   Previous survey or data collection experience.
-   Basic knowledge of health systems or healthcare services preferred
-   Ability to communicate in local languages and English.
-   Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (ODK, KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO, CommCare, etc.).
-   Strong interpersonal skills.

**Physical requirements**

-   Ability to travel extensively by road within assigned states.
-   Ability to spend long hours conducting interviews and reviewing facility records.
-   Ability to work effectively in remote and challenging field environments.
-   Physically fit to carry data collection equipment and work in diverse weather conditions.
