### **Job Summary**

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving regional sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. The role focuses heavily on **public sector engagement, tender management, and solution-based selling**, particularly within government and large-scale institutional environments.

## Requirements

### **Business Development & Sales**

-   Achieve assigned regional sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
-   Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
-   Conduct market research on target countries, including tenders, competitors, pricing, and technology trends.
-   Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

### **Partnership & Client Management**

-   Identify, evaluate, and onboard local business partners to strengthen market presence.
-   Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities and key stakeholders.
-   Manage ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

### **Tendering & Bid Management**

-   Monitor and evaluate government tenders and RFPs.
-   Define bidding strategies (direct, partner-led, or consortium-based).
-   Lead the bid management process and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
-   Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals with high success rates.

### **Cross-Functional Coordination**

-   Collaborate with pre-sales, product development, legal, and operations teams.
-   Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects with complete documentation.
-   Provide market insights and customer feedback to product teams.

### **Market Representation**

-   Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
-   Support regional marketing initiatives and promote product awareness.

### **Systems & Compliance**

-   Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
-   Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

### **Qualifications & Experience**

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering or Business Administration**
-   Postgraduate qualification in Sales or Business Development is preferred
-   Minimum **10 years of experience**, preferably in **public sector or government sales**
-   Proven track record in selling **AI-based, data-driven, or advanced technology solutions**
-   Strong experience in **tendering, bidding, and large-scale project acquisition**
