## Description

The Project Director will provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and management of large-scale building construction projects, ensuring successful delivery in terms of safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. The role requires extensive experience in managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

### Responsibilities

-   Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the project, ensuring successful delivery in terms of safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
-   Manage multidisciplinary teams and major project stakeholders throughout project delivery.
-   Oversee commercial, contractual, and risk management across large construction projects.

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications

-   Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
-   20+ years of experience in large-scale building construction projects, including successful delivery of projects of comparable scale and complexity.
-   At least 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles on construction projects.
-   Previous experience in Qatar or the GCC.
-   Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and major project stakeholders.
-   Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management experience on large construction projects.
-   Proficiency with Primavera P6, BIM platforms such as Revit and Navisworks, and digital construction practices.
-   Valid MMUP/UPDA registration where applicable.
-   Fluent written and spoken English.
-   Able to work on-site.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience on accommodation compounds, residential developments, or large building complexes.
-   Familiarity with QatarEnergy, major clients, consultants, and local authority requirements.
-   Valid MMUP/UPDA registration in Qatar.
