## Description

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Estimator. You will manage large-scale building construction tenders from initial inquiry to final submission. You will ensure competitive pricing, accurate cost assessments, and compliance with client requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Tender Management:** Lead the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates for major building projects.
-   **BOQ Verification:** Review and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), drawings, and specifications.
-   **Vendor Coordination:** Source, analyze, and negotiate competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
-   **Risk Assessment:** Identify potential commercial risks and develop strategic mitigation plans.
-   **Value Engineering:** Propose alternative materials or methods to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
-   **Collaboration:** Work closely with procurement, engineering, and senior management during final bid reviews.

## Requirements

**Required Qualifications & Skills**

-   **Experience:** Minimum 15+ years of total experience in building estimation and tendering.
-   **Regional Expertise:** Strong track record within the GCC construction market.
-   **Project Profile:** Proven experience handling high-value building construction projects.
-   **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
-   **Software Skills:** Proficiency in advanced estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX) and MS Excel.

**General Eligibility Criteria**

-   **Location:** Candidates must be currently in Qatar or ready to relocate immediately.
-   **Document Readiness:** Must possess certificates ready for Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) attestation.
