### **Job Details & Role**

**About your service:** St Gertrude's Catholic Primary School, Smithfield

**Hourly Rate:** $32 - $41 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $3.12 - $3.96 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

-   **After School Care:** 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm
-   **Hours:** Monday to Friday 15 hours. Guaranteed all school days.

-   **Vacation Care:** Flexible 38 Hours per week.
-   **Travel:** Work close to home.
-   Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

### Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As our **OOSH Service Assistant** you will:

-   **Create Awesome Experiences:** Assist in delivering science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
-   **Safety First, Fun Always:** Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar. 
-   **Chef it up:** Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
-   **The Community Connector:** Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OOSH programs.

### What You Bring to the Mix

-   **The Qualification:** You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not essential).
-   **The Vibe:** You’re warm, engaging, and have a "can-do" attitude.
-   **The Essentials:** A valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & . Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
