The successful candidate will be expected to handle routine legal queries and contract-related matters, support business teams during contract review and negotiation processes, help ensure that agreements are properly reviewed, approved, and filed, and identify issues that require escalation to senior legal team members where appropriate.  This role is suitable for a lawyer with **4–6 years of professional experience**, **qualified** in the **UK** or **Greece**, preferably with experience in commercial contracts, corporate law, technology, SaaS, software, or international business environments.  ### **Responsibilities:** - Provide day-to day legal support to management and business teams on corporate, commercial, employment, data protection, procurement, and operational matters.  - Draft, review, and manage contracts, including customer agreements, NDAs, supplier agreements, services agreements, and employment agreements.  - Develop and maintain EXUS contract templates, legal workflows, approval processes, and filing standards.  - Support contract negotiations on key legal terms, including liability, indemnity, confidentiality, intellectual property, data protection, governing law, termination, and dispute resolution.  - Support corporate governance activities across EXUS Group entities.  - Support the implementation of GDPR and data protection requirements across EXUS Group entities.  - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors on contractual, employment, corporate, customer, supplier, and jurisdiction-specific matters.  - Review internal policies and procedures and provide legal guidance on compliance and operational requirements. ## Requirements - University degree in Law from a recognized and reputable university.  - Qualified lawyer in the UK or Greece.  - Postgraduate qualifications in commercial, corporate, or international business law is preferred.  - 4-6 years of professional legal experience, preferably with exposure to commercial, corporate, or employment matters.  - Experience in a structured law firm environment as a corporate lawyer and/or in an in-house legal function.  - Experience in technology, SaaS, software, fintech, or international business environments would be considered a plus.  - GDPR, data protection, or DPO-related experience would be considered a plus.  ### Skills and Competencies  - Experienced in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.  - Proficiency in English and legal terminology; fluency in additional languages is a plus.  - Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain legal issues clearly to non-lawyer management and operational teams.  - Practical, business-oriented mindset and ability to assess legal risk effectively.  - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.  - Proactive, flexible, and able to operate in a fast-paced international environment.  - Tech-savvy, with good command of MS Office, productivity tools, and automation-enabled ways of working. ## Benefits At EXUS we help our people to achieve excellent results by creating a work environment that encourages individual and team success. - Fully remote work setup - Competitive salary - Inclusive work environment & Well-being Program - A clear induction program & a mentoring buddy to help you - Private health insurance - Unlimited time off ## Apply [Apply at EXUS](https://apply.workable.com/exus/j/FD10474051/apply) --- Powered by [Workable](https://www.workable.com)
