Faraday Norton is an Athens-based family investment office with holdings in real estate, hospitality, energy, retail, technology and private equity.

### The Role

Faraday Norton is seeking an AI & Transformation Manager to lead the design, implementation and adoption of AI and automation across the group and its portfolio companies. The role reports directly to the Founder and works closely with the owners and CEOs of the portfolio companies.

### Key Responsibilities

### AI Strategy & Technology

- Define and manage the group's AI tools and platforms, building on existing internal capabilities.
- Evaluate new use cases on a build, buy or decline basis.
- Maintain a register of AI use cases and the data each one accesses.

### Automation & Delivery

- Map business processes across portfolio companies and establish time and cost baselines.
- Design and implement automation in business development, lead generation, research, finance and administration, integrating AI with internal systems, databases and APIs.
- Develop or procure AI agents for document processing, information retrieval, research and reporting, each with a designated business owner.
- Manage initiatives from prototype through deployment, monitoring and ongoing improvement.

### Adoption & Training

- Deliver training and support the adoption of AI tools across all teams.
- Work with portfolio company management to address barriers to adoption.

### Data Governance

- Establish data classification standards, an approved tools list and an AI acceptable-use policy.
- Ensure confidential data remains within controlled environments.

### Key Objectives

- An approved group AI roadmap, covering governance, data policy and an agreed tool stack, within the first 90 days.
- Measurable reductions in operating cost and process time across the portfolio companies, tracked against agreed baselines.
- AI built into core decision processes, including investment analysis, reporting and deal screening.
- A scalable, reusable AI platform owned by the group, rather than separate tools in each company.

## Requirements

- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Business or a related field.
- At least five years' experience in software engineering, data or automation roles.
- Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production with quantified results.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-based agents or retrieval (RAG) systems using Python, LLM APIs, tool calling and workflow orchestration.

- Experience leading technology adoption in a non-technology business.
- Ability to assess vendors and platforms.
- Excellent command of English.
