## Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable **Building Engineer** to join the Farbman Group team. The Building Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting building systems to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for tenants and staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
-   Respond promptly to building service requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and disruptions.
-   Monitor building systems and equipment for efficiency and proper operation.
-   Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
-   Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment status, and inventory.
-   Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
-   Assist in the preparation and management of maintenance budgets.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in building engineering or related field preferred.
-   3+ years of experience in building maintenance or engineering, preferably in commercial properties.
-   Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance.
-   Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
-   Familiarity with safety standards and building codes.
-   Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-   Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekends as needed.
-   Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
