## Description

**Farbman Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to join our team.** This position performs routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting at an assigned commercial property to help ensure the building remains safe, functional, and well maintained for tenants and staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
-   Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
-   Diagnose and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building issues.
-   Respond promptly to service requests and maintenance emergencies.
-   Monitor building systems and equipment for proper operation.
-   Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
-   Maintain accurate records of completed work, equipment status, and inventory.
-   Ensure compliance with safety requirements and applicable building codes.
-   Maintain company tools and equipment in good working condition.
-   Communicate regularly with the property manager and supervisor regarding property needs and completed work.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or an associate degree in a related field preferred.
-   At least three years of building maintenance experience, preferably in commercial properties.
-   Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
-   Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
-   Knowledge of applicable safety standards and building codes.
-   Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts and weekends, as needed.
