## Description

**Overview**  
The Maintenance Technician at Farbman Group is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks to maintain the safety, comfort, and functionality of our properties.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently
-   Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
-   Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural issues
-   Assist with preparing units for new occupants, including cleaning and repairs
-   Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and grounds
-   Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and local regulations
-   Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance services

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certifications preferred
-   2-5 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial properties
-   Proficient knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
-   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
-   Basic computer literacy for work order and maintenance tracking systems
-   Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
