The Richard Rappa District Office is seeking an entrepreneurial sales professional or business leader to develop and operate a Farmers Insurance agency in Americus, Georgia.

As an agency owner, you’ll build a client base, lead your own team, and grow a local business with long-term value. You’ll have the backing of the Farmers Insurance brand along with training, mentorship, and ongoing support from the Rappa District Office.

This is an agency ownership opportunity, not a traditional salaried position. Prior insurance sales experience is not required, but you must be prepared to generate business, lead people, and take responsibility for your agency’s performance.

### What You’ll Do

-   Develop and execute a plan for agency growth
-   Generate business through referrals, networking, marketing, and community involvement
-   Recommend Property & Casualty and Life insurance solutions
-   Recruit, coach, and lead your own team
-   Build lasting client and community relationships

## Requirements

### What We’re Looking For

-   At least one active Georgia insurance license: Property & Casualty or Life & Health (Willingness to obtain the additional required license with our support)
-   Experience in sales, leadership, business development, or a customer-facing role
-   An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset
-   Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-   Confidence prospecting for new business and following up with potential clients
