**Your key responsibilities as a Senior Software Engineer will include:**

-   Take ownership of core microservices, ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
-   Drive the development, optimisation, and stabilisation of existing backend services and data-intensive workloads.
-   Contribute to architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and high-quality pull request reviews.
-   Analyse and resolve complex production issues through 2nd and 3rd level support and root cause investigation.
-   Improve system performance, monitoring, and operational excellence across production environments.
-   Collaborate across teams and occasionally contribute to frontend initiatives where required.

**You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Senior Software Engineer:**

-   You will bring several years of experience building, operating, and supporting production-grade backend systems.
-   You will have strong expertise in Java or Kotlin, ideally complemented by hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
-   You will possess proven experience designing and developing microservice architectures at scale.
-   You will have advanced MongoDB and NoSQL knowledge, including aggregations, map-reduce, and performance optimisation techniques.
-   You will demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
