## Description

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig (FHU) is seeking a motivated Water Resources Engineering Intern to join our Omaha, NE office. This position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in a variety of water resources projects, from supporting hydrology and hydraulics for transportation projects to contributing to stream restoration, floodplain analysis, and stormwater systems.

**What You’ll Do**

As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to:

-   Assist with analysis and design for drainage projects, including hydrology, hydraulics, and floodplain modeling.
-   Support stormwater quality projects through the design of green infrastructure, erosion and sediment control measures, and compliance documentation.
-   Participate in data collection, technical analyses, and report preparation.
-   Use engineering design software to help prepare plans, details, and cost estimates under supervision.
-   Contribute to client presentations and meetings in a supporting role.

## Requirements

-   Current student working toward a **Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering** (with emphasis in water resources preferred).
-   Prior coursework or internship experience in water resources is a plus.
-   Familiarity with **AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, or GIS** is helpful.
-   Exposure to hydrologic, hydraulic, or water quality modeling software is desirable.
-   Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn in a collaborative team environment.

**Additional Information**

-   Internship candidates should be working toward eligibility for an **Engineering Intern (EI) Certificate**.
