FilMax Tech Inc. is an automotive film manufacturer in Jurupa Valley, California, producing and distributing a premium line of protective and appearance films.

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to support the installation, startup, maintenance, and repair of our manufacturing equipment and production lines. This role will work closely with equipment vendors, production, and operations teams to keep equipment safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical maintenance experience, electrical troubleshooting ability, a required electrician qualification, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities

-   Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing and production equipment.
-   Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system issues.
-   Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to maintain safe and reliable equipment operation.
-   Troubleshoot motors, sensors, electrical panels, wiring, pneumatic components, conveyors, rollers, and mechanical assemblies.
-   Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
-   Support equipment setup, adjustment, calibration, production changeovers, and new-equipment testing.
-   Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
-   Coordinate with equipment vendors and outside service providers when needed.
-   Maintain maintenance records, spare-parts information, and equipment documentation.
-   Follow company safety procedures and applicable workplace safety requirements.
-   Support continuous-improvement projects related to equipment reliability, efficiency, safety, and production capacity.

Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent required; technical, trade-school, or vocational training preferred.
-   At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience with manufacturing or industrial equipment.
-   Valid electrician certification or qualification required.
-   Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
-   Experience troubleshooting motors, sensors, electrical components, wiring, pneumatic systems, and mechanical assemblies.
-   Ability to use common electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools.
-   Ability to independently identify equipment issues and perform repairs.
-   Mandarin speaking ability required.
-   Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
-   Experience in automotive film, coating, converting, slitting, packaging, or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.
-   PLC, VFD, servo motor, industrial control, and automation experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

-   Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around production equipment.
-   Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform hands-on equipment maintenance.
-   Ability to lift tools, components, and equipment parts as reasonably required for the position.
