Fire Tech is the UK's leading provider of tech education for young people 9-17 years old. Our award- winning courses, camps & workshops help kids master the technical skills that shape tomorrow. From python & java to digital music production & 3D printing, our courses ensure kids are ready for whatever the world has to offer. Our curriculum is designed to ensure that participants learn as much in a week as they would in a year of programmatic coursework in secondary school.
The Fire Tech curriculum actively teaches design thinking, problem-solving, communication & collaboration - skills that are critical for the new economy. Young people come together in small groups, led by inspiring young experts in their fields, to inspire, encourage and support. We build communities of young people and give them everything they need to be inspired independent learners, intellectual risk takers and creators.
Fire Tech operates in inspirational facilities - such as the London Science Museum and Imperial College - and employs team members who as passionate about learning as they are about teaching. Fire Tech aims to ensure that young people are prepared for a world where technology increasingly drives the economy and are committed to making tech education available and accessible to all children.
Fire Tech was founded by Jill Hodges when she was frustrated by the limited technology education her children were getting in school. Since it's launch in 2013 the team has delivered over 7,000 courses and workshops. Fire Tech is backed by a group of influential investors, as well as, CASS Entrepreneurial Fund and Emerge Education. We operate in markets across the UK and have programmes in Italy, Poland, France, Australia and are expanding rapidly across the globe.
