We're adding a Staff Accountant to our Manila team. This is a mid-shift role where you'll be a genuine member of our US finance team, supporting the US interests of our parent company in real time, not as a support act, but as part of the core team.

## Requirements

### 📋 What You'll Be Doing

-   Preparing and recording journal entries across asset, liability, revenue, and expense accounts for multiple service locations
-   Running month-end, quarter-end, and annual close procedures
-   Preparing monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations
-   Supporting external financial audits with schedules and documentation
-   Pulling together ad-hoc expense variance explanations from transaction data
-   Supporting process improvements and centralisation across the finance team
-   Building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

### 🎯 What You'll Bring

-   Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required)
-   2+ years in accounting with increasing levels of responsibility
-   Solid US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
-   Strong Microsoft Excel skills. You know your way around a pivot table without having to look it up.
-   CPA credential is a plus, not a dealbreaker
-   Excellent attention to detail. You catch errors others walk straight past.
-   Clear, confident communication. You can explain a variance without making everyone's eyes glaze over.
-   The kind of curiosity that asks _why_ the numbers look the way they do, not just records them and moves on
