**Role Summary**

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.

**Core Responsibilities**

-   Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
-   Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
-   Perform bank, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis.
-   Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
-   Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
-   Prepare and analyze financial reports and supporting schedules.
-   Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
-   Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data.
-   Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
-   Assist with external audits, tax inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements.
-   Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes.
-   Support the implementation and enhancement of financial controls and accounting procedures.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-   2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
-   Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
-   Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
-   Knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations is preferred.
-   Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, ACCA, CPA, DipIFR) are considered a plus.
