**THE ROLE:**

If you’re a seasoned collections professional who thrives on complexity - not a dialer script - this is the role that will stretch and reward you!

We’re looking for someone who has cut their teeth in debt collection agencies, asset recovery teams, or complex consumer/portfolio collections. You know how to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and hold firm in tough conversations. You’re not afraid to point customers back to their contractual obligations, and you know how to balance empathy with commercial outcomes.

This isn’t a standard collections role. Our environment is fast‑paced, multi‑layered and hands‑on, requiring you to investigate, problem‑solve and manage multiple moving parts. Novated leasing adds an extra layer of complexity - you’re often dealing with both the driver and the employer, and no two cases look the same.

You’ll play a critical role in reducing risk and delinquency across our AU/NZ Fleet portfolio. Your responsibilities include:

-   Managing a portfolio of delinquent contracts across Australia and New Zealand
-   Identifying and managing accounts entering Financial Hardship, Administration or Liquidation
-   Issue repossession and legal instructions when required and manage process
-   Maximising asset disposal returns for repossessed or returned vehicles, including unfair wear and tear assessments
-   Supporting Accounts Receivable with receipting, allocation, reconciliations and financial control checks when required

**ABOUT YOU:**

You bring a strong collections mindset - resilient, commercially sharp and unafraid to take ownership. You’ve worked in environments where you have managed a portfolio and you know how to navigate difficult conversations with confidence and professionalism.

You will thrive here if you have:

-   3+ years experience in collections, recoveries or portfolio management
-   Demonstrated grit and experience dealing with difficult customers while maintaining a customer‑centric approach
-   Strong written and verbal communication skills
-   Intermediate Excel
-   Experience in repossessions or asset recovery (highly regarded but not essential)
-   Exposure to operating or finance vehicle leases (advantageous)
