**THE ROLE:**

Join our team on a **12-month contract** as a Salary Packaging Consultant. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of external and internal salary packaging services, involving the operation of our salary packaging tool and the provision of advice and support on salary packaging offerings. This position will ensure compliance with accounting controls, principles, reporting requirements and perform payroll and balance reconciliations. In addition, the role will support the preparation of salary packaging FBT report requirements for Customers.

Key Responsibilities:

-   Operating the Salary Packaging application
-   Provide efficient, accurate and customer focused salary packaging solutions to our clients
-   Performing client account and bank reconciliations
-   Maintaining high standards of service delivery aligned to Customer expectations agreed SLA
-   Solving problems under pressure from customers and when faced with ambiguity
-   Supporting sales staff with your knowledge of Salary Packaging by contributing to the preparation of communications
-   Supporting Accounts Receivable for payment collection
-   Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, HR and finance departments
-   Engaging with customers on their FBT reporting expectations • Assistance in preparing annual FBT reports

Whether you come from salary packaging, payroll or accounting, you're someone who takes pride in delivering quality work, managing competing priorities and contributing positively to a collaborative team.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

-   Working knowledge of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), preferably relating to motor vehicles
-   A solid understanding of salary packaging processes and accrual accounting principles
-   Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
-   Excellent attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry skills
-   A proactive, self-motivated approach and the confidence to use your initiative
-   Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to delivering outstanding service and build positive relationships across the business
