**About the Job:**   

We are actively hiring a Multi-Site Recruitment Specialist to support our Charlotte, NC site.   
   
Shift: Monday-Friday day shift (40 hours per week)    
Location: Onsite   
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt   
Compensation: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

## Requirements

**Essential Functions:**

-   Sit at workstation for extended periods of time, managing a continuously high volume of calls.
-   Recruit qualified study participants creatively and diligently into assigned protocols to fulfill enrollment obligations within the sponsor’s timeline while following regulations and rules governing medical ethics, IRB, GCP and ICH guidelines.
-   Ensure that potential study participants are called, screened appropriately, and followed up on to provide a timely response.
-   Function as a member of the clinical research team in the recruitment department to help ensure that departmental goals are met across all studies.
-   Be involved in all planning meetings (assessment trainings, protocol review and follow-up meetings) and maintain any campaign portals and associated reporting.
-   Phone screen potential study participants utilizing an assessment.
-   Enter medical history and demographic information taken from potential study volunteers into a computerized database.
-   Follow-up with all no-shows and update status within Salesforce in a timely manner ensuring proper documentation in the comments section.
-   Make reminder phone calls for pre-screens and screens scheduled.
-   Be knowledgeable about upcoming studies and communicate thoughts on how to pre -screen, if applicable.
-   Liaise with site physicians and their networks, contact referrals promptly and prioritize following up with physician on the referral outcome.
-   Mine site EMR, if applicable, for patients for current and upcoming studies
-   Maintain confidentiality of study protocol information and Protected Health Information (PHI).
-   Attend required meetings and training sessions to stay abreast of current and changing federal regulations, study protocols and Flourish policies.
-   Perform all study related duties in a timely and cost-effective manner in adherence with Flourish policies.
-   Assists with key initiatives/process improvements in the department.
-   Assists with developing and implementing process improvements.
-   Seeks out opportunities to help achieve department/company goals.
-   Perform all duties in a safe and prudent manner.
-   Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with Flourish staff, sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs), IRBs, participants, nursing and medical staff members of various clinics, hospitals, and physician’s offices; Flourish Research contract personnel, as well as any other person(s) when carrying out tasks and responsibilities.
-   Additional duties as assigned by management.

**Physical Requirements and/or Environmental Factors:**

-   Work is performed remotely.
-   Local travel may be required.
-   Ability to sit for an extended amount of time.
-   Extensive computer use.
-   Occasional night and weekend work schedules.

**Minimum Requirements:**

-   College degree required; advanced degree preferred.
-   2+ years within the role, 1-3 years, related experience (full/partial) within the research industry.

**Knowledge and Skills:**

-   Demonstrates core values & all skills set required.
-   Must have experience specifically in patient recruitment, understanding of related guidelines (IRB, FDA, GCP, and HIPAA).
-   Must have experience with outbound/inbound calling.
-   Must have experience with advanced call center technology including CRM, CTMS and integrated voice systems.
-   Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communications.
-   Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
-   Must have a strategic mindset around pivoting on calls with studies and is flexible with tight timelines.
-   Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, be able to work independently and in a team, and stay on task and meet deadlines.
-   Must be professional and have a strong work ethic.
-   Must have excellent customer service and telephone skills.
-   Familiarity with medical terminology.
-   Experience recruiting for central nervous system (CNS) clinical trials required; familiarity with CNS specific patient populations, neurological and psychiatric condition terminology, and the unique screening considerations associated with CNS protocols (e.g., cognitive assessments, psychiatric exclusion criteria, washout periods) strongly preferred. May be asked to learn CNS rating scales and administer them as needed.
-   Must be able to adapt and take on additional tasks as requested.
-   Fosters relationships across teams.
-   Consistently accomplishes 80% of individual quarterly goals and objectives.
-   Assists with training and mentoring department new hires.
-   Demonstrates good critical thinking and decision-making skills.
-   Industry certified, as applicable.
