## Description

At OZ we are looking for a Digital Architect – Web, Mobile & User Experience with 15+ years of experience to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of large-scale digital products. This role combines deep technical architecture expertise with a strong sensibility for user experience, ensuring that web and mobile platforms are scalable, performant, secure, and delight end users. You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to define technical strategy and ensure best-in-class execution across the digital ecosystem.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture for web and mobile applications, including front-end, back-end, integration, and infrastructure layers.

• Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical architectures.

• Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure architectural decisions support seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experiences.

• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across web and mobile platforms.

• Lead technology evaluations and make build-vs-buy recommendations for frameworks, tools, and platforms.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality, consistent implementation of architectural designs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Design) to align technical solutions with business goals.

• Conduct architecture reviews, performance audits, and risk assessments across projects.

• Drive adoption of modern development practices (microservices, API-first design, responsive/adaptive design, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture).

• Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and cross-device/browser compatibility.

• Stay current with emerging trends in web, mobile, and UX technologies, and proactively recommend improvements.

• Support pre-sales, client presentations, or stakeholder discussions with architectural vision and technical thought leadership.

## Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on web and mobile platforms.

• Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale, high-traffic web and mobile applications end-to-end.

• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to bridge technical architecture with design thinking.

• Hands-on expertise with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and mobile development approaches (native, hybrid, or cross-platform such as React Native/Flutter).

• Solid experience with back-end architecture, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure).

• Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser/device compatibility.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum).

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills — able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural governance.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience working in consulting, digital agency, or product organizations delivering for enterprise clients.

• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.

• Exposure to performance optimization, security architecture, and scalability planning for high-traffic platforms.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
