### **Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **Operations Manager** to oversee day-to-day operations related to **heavy haul, oversized freight, and rigging projects**. This individual will play a key role in planning and executing complex transportation moves while ensuring compliance, safety, and profitability.

This is a **hands-on leadership role** requiring close coordination across dispatch, drivers, vendors, and project stakeholders.

## Requirements

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Oversee daily operations for **heavy haul and specialized transport movements**, including planning, dispatch, and execution
-   Manage **oversized/overweight shipments**, including permitting, routing, and escort coordination
-   Coordinate **rigging and project cargo moves**, including cranes and specialized equipment
-   Lead and mentor operations staff, drivers, and field teams
-   Ensure compliance with **DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations**
-   Develop and maintain relationships with **escort companies, crane providers, and specialized carriers**
-   Monitor KPIs tied to **on-time performance, cost control, safety, and service quality**
-   Troubleshoot and resolve real-time operational challenges
-   Collaborate with sales and leadership on **project planning and pricing strategy**
-   Maintain accurate documentation and operational reporting

### **Qualifications**

-   5+ years of experience in **heavy haul, oversized freight, or specialized transportation operations**
-   Strong knowledge of **permitting, routing, and escort requirements**
-   Experience coordinating **rigging and project cargo logistics**
-   Familiarity with equipment such as **RGNs, lowboys, multi-axle trailers, and step decks**
-   Solid understanding of **DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety protocols**
-   Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
-   Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on operational mindset
-   Experience with TMS systems and operational reporting tools

### **Preferred Experience**
