# Youth Athletic Mentor | TSP Afterschool Programs

## Description

**This is an after-school position that operates Monday through Friday during the school year.**

**This position involves working directly with students in an after-school setting.**

**Compensation**

-   Starting pay: **$20.00/hour** after successful completion of onboarding and **24 hours of on-site training**

**Typical Schedule**

-   **Regular School Days:** 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
-   **Early Release Days:** Up to 5.25 hours
-   **Regular Bell Days:** Up to 4.25 hours

In addition to working directly with students, there will occasionally be:

-   Staff meetings with Fresno Unified site facilitators
-   TSP staff meetings
-   Professional development and required trainings throughout the school year

**Reliability and consistent attendance are extremely important because we are contracted to provide services to Fresno Unified students every school day.**

## Requirements

**Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:**

-   Must be 18 years or older
-   Must have reliable transportation to multiple locations
-   Must have no criminal record
-   Must possess a minimum of 48 college units **or** pass the Paraprofessional Test and provide proof of a high school diploma/GED and a valid photo ID.

**As part of the hiring and onboarding process, all employees are required to complete:**

-   Live Scan background check
-   TB testing
-   Mandated Reporter Training
-   CPR, First Aid & AED Certification
-   Heads Up Concussion Certification
-   Heat Illness Prevention Certification
-   Any additional district or TSP-required trainings
