Job responsibilities:  
\- Design and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons to students of varying proficiency levels, following the school's curriculum and standards.  
\- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate interactive and innovative teaching methods to enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding.  
\- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.  
\- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respect for cultural diversity.  
\- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop and refine the Chinese language program and teaching materials.  
\- Organize and participate in cultural events, activities, and workshops to promote Chinese language and culture within the school community.  
\- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance, and prepare progress reports for parents and school administration.  
\- Stay updated on best practices in language education and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.  
  
Job requirements:  
\- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.  
\- Teaching certification or relevant qualifications in Chinese language instruction.  
\- Proven experience teaching Chinese as a second language, preferably in an international school setting.  
\- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
\- Strong understanding of Chinese language pedagogy and cultural nuances.  
\- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.  
\- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.  
\- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
